At The Nurturing Roots, we are dedicated to providing a premier early childhood education experience that empowers children to become lifelong learners. Our philosophy, ‘Strong Roots create Confident Futures,’ is the cornerstone of everything we do.

Founded and led by Suhani Gupta and Priyanka Sharma — both passionate mothers and experienced educators with over 17+ years of pioneering work — our institution is a haven for holistic development.

We implement a uniquely crafted curriculum that integrates global best practices with essential cultural and ethical values. We prioritise emotional intelligence, creativity and resilience alongside academic excellence. Our Founders

Two mothers, one vision

Suhani Gupta — Founder

Suhani’s vision centres on the belief that “strong roots create confident futures.” A Master’s from SPJIMR and leadership programs at IIM Calcutta, with 14+ years in early childhood education after 8 years at Oracle Financial Services. She aims to cultivate happy hearts, curious minds and confident individuals ready to take on the world.

Dr. Priyanka Sharma — Co-Founder

A devoted mother and visionary educator with over a decade in early childhood education. She holds a Bachelor’s in Education and an Honorary Doctorate in Education Philosophy, and completed the Education Leadership Programme at IIM Kolkata. Together the founders have positively impacted over 500 children’s development.

Priyanka Sharma

Co-Founder

A passionate mother of two whose love for children inspired an outstanding preschool. B.Ed and MBA from ICFAI University; formerly taught at Tagore International School, Delhi; specialises in early-childhood methodologies.

Suhani Gupta

Founder

14+ years in early childhood education. IIM Calcutta & SP Jain Mumbai alumna who worked at Oracle Financial Services for 8 years before founding her first preschool in 2009.

Sarika Damania Athalye

EQ & Life-Skills Facilitator

Facilitates emotional-intelligence and life-skills workshops through storytelling. P.G. Diploma in Counselling from TISS and a Diploma in Anthroposophic Psychotherapy; builds curriculum around moral values and EQ.

Sweany Fernandez

Jr. KG Teacher

SNDT University graduate majoring in Food Science & Nutrition. A five-year tenure with the organisation, described as diligent and caring.

Sonal Bhandari Dhawan

Operations Head

Brings 7 years of operations experience across multiple Mumbai-based preschools.

Questions parents often ask

We accept children from 1.5 years onwards — Playgroup: 1.5–2.5 yrs · Nursery: 2.5–3.5 yrs · Junior KG: 3.5–4.5 yrs · Senior KG: 4.5–5.5 yrs.

Sessions run 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 12:30 PM–3:30 PM. Daycare is available from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

We maintain a low ratio of 1:10 to ensure personalised attention for every child.

Our campus is CCTV-monitored with round-the-clock security. Staff are background-verified and trained in first aid.

Yes — we provide safe and GPS-enabled transport across Nerul and nearby areas.
